Summary: I purchased this card to go with my new budget gaming rig. It performed nicely for the price, however I quickly began noticing that it would begin displaying visual anomalies (artifacts) after the card exceeded 60'c, an arguably comfortable temperature for a card to stay on.
Summary: Has improved on their products over the years and this I like. What I don't like is dealing with those automated email boxes to deal with customer service or tech support. It's like visiting a physicians office, you can call to get the appointment, show up and pay the co-payment but after you leave...
Summary: Only 4/5 stars as it lacked an SLI bridge and I had to purchase extra 6-pin connectors - but otherwise they are sound and run well. Some noise once the fans kick into high gear but with 3 running at once, the sound isn't too bad in my machine.
Summary: There are faster cards out there, but for the not so dedicated hardcore gamer this card does what it needs to and it has all the connections one could ask for while still playing all of the latest games on just less than the highest quality.
Summary: MSI has made a truly great product affordable once again. I built a mid level gaming PC a few months ago and decided on an nVidia GeForce GTX 550 TI card because they were the right blend of performance and value for me.
Summary: For the price of this card, I don't see any reason to give it less than 5 stars. I bought this card as overkill for my new HTPC build so me and the wife could play co-op games if there's nothing we want to watch; it plays Borderlands 2 high/ultra-high settings without issue.
