Summary: Replaced a GTX 280 which a few newer games had pushed to it's limits. Saw an immediate impact on graphics quality, which I expected. However, I also noticed a huge decrease in heat coming from the computer. The old card used two 6 pin powers connectors and took up 2 slots in my PC, where as this new card only uses one 6 pin and one slot - which will make it much easier to get another and SLI together.
Summary: I have an Hp work station and this card did not work, I had to buy another (Radeon 7770) which did work well. Also watch out for the power requirements, it takes a 550w or better supply. Gave the card away...
Summary: This plugged in without any difficulties. The display is clear, crisp and fast, although gaming video demands have not been tested. A minor inconvenience was obtaining additional voltage for the on-board connection. All the necessary cables was supplied but trying to route power cable so not to disturb airflow, fans and heat sinks required some cable ties.
Summary: very nice card card for mid range gaming. if your looking for max gaming open your wallet and look at something like a 780. no sli support either so this card is for single card users only.playing diablo3,neverwinter,and fallout NV running med settings on a 23 inch monitor med -high res with no problems. for price and solid performance in the mid level range a very nice choice.
