Summary: Very disappointing, especially with their support. Google Chrome cannot work with their software because it crashes continuously Office 2013 flickers continuously The configuration is "forgotten" almost every time I reconnect the laptop Very often, I cannot maximize anymore Windows in one monitor because it goes over all 3 Very difficult to setup 3 monitors 1920 X 1080
Summary: Disk included does not contain the driver, must get driver on- line. Windows 7 is incompatible? Don't know what the problem is? There is no online help, no number to call for assistance and very little to nothing for instructions included. Does not include 2 DVI cables needed to connect three displays, had to go out and get them. Plugged it all up and got garbage. Attempts to troubleshoot were futile. I gave up pretty quickly here.
Summary: I tried setting up three monitors to a new laptop and it looked awful. I ended up with one green-colored, extended screen that spanned over 3 monitors. I did not waste my time trying to tweak it at that point as it did not appear to be working even close to its advertised performance. Instead, I spent a few more dollars to buy a new desk top with inputs to hook up three monitored and that worked much better.
Summary: This product did not do what I wanted it to do, I was under the assumption that this would create 3 separate monitor screens when in fact it was just one. The customer service was okay, for the return.
Cons: Will not work with every setup, and Matrox tech support is horrible. Matrox products have always been known to be very flaky with its compatibilities and this one is no different. NewEgg nor Matrox will allow a return on this bad product.
Summary: Just plugged the 4 monitors into the 4 ports on the video card (not on the Matrox), all 4 were at 1080p. Unplugged the Matrox until we need to exceed 4 monitors. Would have given this zero eggs if I could. What made it worse was the "No Returns" policy on this item.
Pros: Installation was quick and easy.
Cons: Setup of the software (monitors / resolutions) was almost a complete disaster. Did not support resolution listed on Matrox site. Wanted it to be 1080p to match the 4th monitor via HDMI. Only one of the three displays ever displayed any video and was at 720p.
Summary: I got this device, after much excitement and anticipation only to discover that the DVI adapter did not work. I e-mailed the company for Technical Assistance and over a month later...(Still no reply). I finally ended up paying my own computer technician to come over and set the system up using the VGA adapter. I would not recommend this product ever again to anyone.
Summary: We use this brand at my job. They get hot very quickly and burn out after about 6 months. I have been forced to use these for about two years now. What a rip off. I truly hate these little fire boxes.
Summary: THIS COULD BE A GREAT PIECE OF HARDWARE, HOWEVER YOU NEED TO LOOK TO COMPATIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTUAL SYSTEM, GO TO THE MATROX WEBSITE AND DOWNLOAD THE COMPATIBILITY TOOL BEFORE YOU BUY IT. YOU WILL FIND OUT IF IT IS THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT FOR YOUR SYSTEM.
