Summary: This thing would not work with either of my two laptops (HP Elite and HP Pavilion) or my desktop (which has an high end video graphics card). I would like to have 3 monitors rather than 2 and I spent about 15 hours trying to get this to work. I finally got it to work with all three monitors in VGA mode. Not exactly what I was looking for! If you are going to try this out, be sure you can return it if it doesn't work with your system.

Summary: Purchased this model for my work desktop and found that it actually doesn't support the resolutions it says it does. There's a "fine print" link to an even finer print disclaimer that says that on some systems it "only supports..." certain resolutions. This turns out to be roughly half the usable resolution of the displays. It would nice if Matrox let you know up front that you may get roughly the resolution of 2 monitors even if you have it hooked up to 3.
Summary: Disk included does not contain the driver, must get driver on- line. Windows 7 is incompatible? Don't know what the problem is? There is no online help, no number to call for assistance and very little to nothing for instructions included. Does not include 2 DVI cables needed to connect three displays, had to go out and get them. Plugged it all up and got garbage. Attempts to troubleshoot were futile. I gave up pretty quickly here.
Summary: I tried setting up three monitors to a new laptop and it looked awful. I ended up with one green-colored, extended screen that spanned over 3 monitors. I did not waste my time trying to tweak it at that point as it did not appear to be working even close to its advertised performance. Instead, I spent a few more dollars to buy a new desk top with inputs to hook up three monitored and that worked much better.
Summary: This product did not do what I wanted it to do, I was under the assumption that this would create 3 separate monitor screens when in fact it was just one. The customer service was okay, for the return.
Summary: Matrox has a long way to go. I bought two of these to operate 6 screens after running their compatibility software. Well, the two devices did work but very poorly. Here's why: (1) The software mentioned that I could run screens up to 1280 x 1024. Not true. The devices worked but the maximum resolution on each was 2400 x 800 when running both and 3840 x 1024 if you were lucky when running one.
Cons: Will not work with every setup, and Matrox tech support is horrible. Matrox products have always been known to be very flaky with its compatibilities and this one is no different. NewEgg nor Matrox will allow a return on this bad product.
