Summary: This is one of the go to devices for merging multiple screens into one display. Not entirely intuitive to use but not difficult either. Note: don't think you can use a Triplehead for splitting/mirroring. You'll need a separate device for that.
Summary: To be clear, all of my hardware is rated as being compatible with this product. So this is how it behaves under the best of conditions. I've been using this product for about a year now and it definitely has its quirks.
Summary: I've been using a TripleHead2Go for 6 years now, with no problems. When my old video card (beefy in its day) died, I was able to replace it with a cheap one (entry level gamer card) that was still able to drive the triple display (I use the 3x1280x1024 configuration).
