Great Card For Video Editing

Martin, Amazon

  • Summary: If you edit video and still images to create DVDs or slide shows this card is for you. Matrox leans heavy on editing as opposed to gaming.

Matrox Forever

John, B&H Photo
29 January 2013
  • Excerpt: Needed to upgrade my former Matrox dual monitor card to support a new 1920 x 1080 display. The product didn't disappoint, and neither did the support. Physical and driver installation was a snap and configuration was easy using either the Matrox Utility or Windows display properties. I had a problem with one monitor not fully darkening when the power saver kicked in, but Matrol sent the latest driver almost immediately - and that solved the issue.
  • Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Use, Good Graphics Quality, Reliable Performance

Must remove driver BEFORE upgrading to Windows 7 x64!

Golog, Amazon
2 November 2009
  • Summary: This is a great graphics card for business applications, running a pair of 24" monitors at 1920x1200. It is stable, fanless, and runs cool, unlike most fanless graphics cards that will support the latest high rez monitors. After upgrading from Vista x64 to Windows 7 x64, I couldn't watch videos on the computer.
