Summary: (1) This video card works perfectly & will drive dual monitors in XP, Vista or Win7 if the computer runs the xddm driver referred to by "Kevin." Will not run on a Win8 machine. (2) The card will not be recognized in Vista or Win7 if there is wddm driver present to drive a second video card.
Summary: Replacement card in my proliant 2850 server. Works under Windows 7 x64 with driver from Matrox. search for xddm64_2_10_01_005_nowhql_w7 driver. Has dvi ports but comes with vga to dvi adapter. Install card, load the matrox power desk (driver above) and set up dual monitors. goes up to 1280x1024
Summary: I bought this in the hopes to be able to hook up my computer to my HDTV. It was advertized that it had a DVI connection and it got to me it did not have the DVI connection, insted it had a LFH ( Low Force Helix ). I asked my A+ Mentor about it and he knew nothing about it.
Summary: For a company which claims that they are somehow leading age old pioneers in the graphics card buisiness, this card is a joke. I bought it for my dad thinking it would make the perfect buisiness card for him. Well you plug the darn thing in and nothing appears on the screen.
Pros: The name matrox. Makes you think of the perfect high end 2d cards.
Cons: Does not support wide screen resolutions, nor are the drivers in any way mature enough to be considered useful.
Summary: Great if you are using two monitors, just plug them both into the card and they run independently as an extended desktop. I have three monitors, hopefuly 4 in the future and will only need two cards thanks to this.
Summary: There is nothing radically wrong with this card. It is well made and was quite easy to install. However, for some reason, it is limited to supporting a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 when using dual link DVI. This is not mentioned in the rather brief product description.
Summary: Tried installing drivers from supplied CD and latest from Matrox site, neither recognise that the card is even fitted to the PC. Card claims to have to have "TV out" but according to Matrox that doesn't include PAL, not a problem across the pond perhaps but a PAL output was the only reason I bought...
Summary: Habe sie gebraucht erworben. Funktioniert gut auf älteren Rechnern, die noch über AGP-Grafik verfügen. Insbesondere für die Bearbeitung von Fotos geeignet - für Video eher weniger geeignet, aber dafür ist sie ja schließlich nicht gedacht!
