Summary: I fell in love with Matrox about six years ago when I purchased a Millennium 200 8MB PCI card for my first dual processor Linux rig (that card is still chugging along in my file server). A little over a year ago I decided to pursue my RHCE.
Pros: Crisp, clear display running dual head. Gorgeous color. Very responsive for desktop use.
Cons: AGP 2X/4X – I wish it were 8X, not that it seems to slow the card down. Not the best 3D performance when running dual head (OpenGL screen savers are no good unless you are only running a single display, part of this, however, is a result of the xorg server software architecture[it's just not buil...
Summary: I've got an older G400 and a G450. They both work equally well on text and graphics. I bought my first G400 card after reading a graphics trade magazine review of a number of video cards for 2D use, ranging up to nearly a grand in cost.
Summary: You're not wrong...you're just absolutely incorrect. Two monitors would be very useful in games. Only matrox realized that two was a waste because it made it so your focal point was the plasted frame around two CRT's. So! Parhelia has "triplehead" which supports three monitors.
Summary: I've had this card for over a month now and it works without a hitch in XP, screens are displayed smoothly and quickly an sharply on my Samsung flat panel monitor. The color is much better calibrated than my old VooDoo3 card.
Summary: This product is amazing! I just ordered it for my new computer, and the Dual Monitors are great. Okay, so it did'nt do to well on 3DMark 2001, but who cares its not supposed to. It runs photoshop and Illustrator flawlessly and smooth! It's inexpensive and good, Go for it!
Summary: If you want stable and full function dual monitor support, look no further. The software is extremely useful. I love working on a Word document on Screen 1, with a reference document on Screen 2. Cut and paste without swapping images back and forth.
Summary: In Preis/Leistung für MultiMonitoring Funktion ist Matrox noch immer Unschlagbar! Aber Achtung! Für fast alle Matrox Serien besonders die G-Serie und MMS-Serie gibt es keine Windows 7 Treiber und wird warscheinlich laut Support nie welche geben! Bitte dies beim Umrüsten zu berücksichtigen!
