Works well

  • Summary: Nice that it has dual display port outputs.
  • Pros: Genuine HP part. Used this to replace a Quadro card that was failing in a dual Xeon workstation (HP). Don't really need the video card that much, since the machine runs Linux and several VMs. Low power requirements and reasonable price made it a good choice. Machine only has a 650 watt power supply, so with dual quad core Xeons, and 32 gig of memory and a few disk drives, power consumption and thermal dissipation are good with this card.
  • Cons: Just adequate performance, although it substantially out performs the old Quadro card while using a lot less power.

Working as intended

  • Summary: ::shrugs:: I really don't see how this is important it works for league, l4d2 runs at a decent fps on medium settings.
  • Pros: Plays League at decent settings. Hasn't crashed out, worked on the mother board that came with my prefab computer.
  • Cons: Not many it works as intended. A little out of date perhaps but solid performance nonetheless.

Pretty Good

  • Summary: Good "entry level" card. Runs old games great and amateur levels of photoshop.
  • Pros: Low power requirements. 2GB memory!
  • Cons: Has 3 display outputs but will only support 2 simultaneously. Also, outputs are "Display port" not to be confused with HDMI. When I purchased this card it was labeled as a GTX...it is only a GT.

Pretty Good.

  • Summary: Apparently there were noise complaints on this. NO idea what that is about. I've had louder and weaker cards than this one. It's fine.
  • Pros: -Runs cool.
  • Cons: Fan seems a little lightweight, but it runs cool enough.

Satisfied

  • Summary: All in all this is a good video card to have if you have a store bought computer that isn't jam packed with goodies already. This card will allow you to play most games that are a few years old. BUT not on ultra graphic settings of course. I would recommend this video card to anyone who wants to play games, but isn't worried about it being at the highest of settings.
  • Pros: The video card isn't huge, which i liked for the fact that i don't have a big computer case. Also it was easy to install. By far this video card is better than the onboard graphics that my motherboard has, and it boosts the performance substantially.
  • Cons: It has a small fan, so it doesn't cool off the card quite as much as i'd like. But the card doesn't put off too much heat surprisingly. but i will be adding another fan just for good measure.

Decent

Elliot C., Newegg

  • Summary: Overall I would recommend this card to someone who does not need to run everything on the very highest settings, but is also not running the most recent games that came out today. If you are running games that are 2 or more years old, this card should do fine.
  • Pros: Will work in most computers, but is not a low-profile card.
  • Cons: The most you'll get is probably 90FPS in any game. So it's not really a great gaming card. BF3 will run at a decent 30fps on low @ 1440x900, but with a bit of lag.
