Nice video card
20 May 2014
Summary: I bought this as an upgrade from a V4800. It works beautifully with three monitors. The only possible complaint is that if you want to use three monitors, one has to be a native display port connection since the card only supports two "legacy" connections.
Summary: Actually, this card is really GREAT, but the reason why i only give it good is because... this card is not meant to play games. If you try to get this to play games, you are wasting your money, even if you try to get a pair and Crossfire it. But except it, it's a fine stable card that takes up little power (70w), it's quiet even in full load, and doesn't produce a lot of heat (keep up to around 62'c only).
Summary: I waited to write this review because I had read that these cards can go out in the first few days of use. So far I have not had that problem, everyone said they are incredible if they work. Please do not go out on me because you have worked so well.
Summary: These are great 3D cards for workstations running Autocad, but for every 3 I order I get one that is defective. Amazon is great about returning the cards but the failure rate on the cards are high. Typically if they are going to fail they do so in the first 2 or 3 days after installation.
Summary: I bought this graphics card as an upgrade from the AMD Firepro V4900 (1GB). As a Pro Photographer working with fairly large video files (36MP and larger) an extra GB of dedicated video memory was just what I needed. Programs like Adobe CS6 and Lightroom (and all the plug-ins)run just that much better with as much video memory as you can afford.
Summary: This video card is a "mid-level" card according to some, but it performs extremely well in our machines. This is the 2nd v5900 I have purchased for our office. Granted both computers have at least 16gb of RAM, so 2gb dedicated to a video card is not much from the system. I noticed that this vid card comes with a connector wire for high end computers that can handle 2 video cards.
Summary: I purchased this workstation video card since august of 2012, I never used the eyefinity tecnology, just worked in google sketchup 8 for one month, the driver doesnt worked with a good performance and my autocad 2013 said that my video card has not certified driver, i donwloaded every version and nothing, maybe my card was dead for the beginning and until the last week it die.
Summary: Video card works great.....easy installation. Recommend!I bought it for 3d modelling.....great price to performance ratio. Would recommend to others. Very quiet compared to my old GTX-295 video card.
