Summary: This video card was bought for use as a second video card in my media center. It performed decently but due to the orientation of my PCIexpress slots, the card ran smoking hot all of the time. The stock cooler needs to be better, in my opinion. It could have been much larger and still have easily fit in a single slot. OK card, but needs airflow.
Summary: I should have done more research, has a non-standard connector and should ship with a Y-cable that adapts to standard connectors. Obviously, it's not worth my time and energy to pursue, buyer beware!
Summary: This is a very good card depending on what you want to use it for, I have an old dell 3100/e310 and it only has PCI and PCI e x1 slots so this was a great option for me, the fan on the card is very quiet and this card needs very little power to run, runs cool and taker up very little space. It does not have DVI though, but it does come with a cable that has 2 VGA ports.
Great PCIe x1 Adapter (no DVI, rather it has two VGA ports)

Summary: I was looking for a second video card for my system, but the only slots available were PCIe x1 (not x16's). This was the ONLY card I could find to meet those specs. It supports DirectX 10 and is a nice small card (also has a low-profile bracket included). Please note that the description is wrong. There is no DVI port. Instead, it has a proprietary port (that looks somewhat DVI-like) that is used to connect the included Y-cable which provides two VGA ports.
Summary: Bought this to replace my two 8800GTX graphics cards as I no longer play games and the noise of the fans was driving me nuts when not gaming. Not to mention the high power draw and heat! This card is brilliant - quiet, low power and heat and displays images just fine. It is silent becasue it has no fan - those with fans that claim to be silent will be slightly noisy or will become so over time. No good for a low profile PCs as many popular HTPC are now as it is too high.
Summary: I've just installed this as a replacement for a Zotac GeForce 8500 1GB graphics card that actually went 'POP'! It was originally purchased as a stop gap card as the Zotac was still under warranty - the fan on the Zotac had seized causing three of the capacitors to pop and spew their electrolyte. This card is lower spec'd than the Zotac in that it has half of the on board RAM and it's the nVidia 8400 chip rather than the 8500.
Summary: This card is a good choice for people with only a PCI x1 slot on their motherboard, It runs counter strike source well. PLEASE NOTE: The Image used by Amazon for this product is wrong, as it shows a card with a PCIe x16 interface, the customer image I uploaded is the correct one.
