Summary: I purchased this AGP video card and like most offers, it had a rebate offer with it. $10.00. Not a fortune but it made the card more affordable. I have waited going on 4 months now for the rebate check and still have never received it. There appears to be no way to actually e-mail them about the rebate. The status says the check is cut but, still no rebate. If you want to buy a card from HIS, plan on the sales price without any rebate they offer.
Summary: I've had this card for over a year and I've had no problems. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I don't like the extra noise of the fan. And it is not loud at all. I just really like quite!. The card is installed on an old Sony Vaio PC (P4 HT 2.8MHz) with Windows XP home.
Summary: I received this product just a few short days after I ordered it. Had a few problems with memory (not the products fault). Ordered new memory from Amazon. Finally installed. Board and memory took off like a scalded dog. Very satisfied with the product. I might also add that my current computer is 'ol school. Another reason to be happy with my purchase.
Summary: Got this because it was AGP and supported HDMI thinking I could use it on an old server that I had that was silent for a media pc. The fan on the video card is now the loudest part of the machine. Wish it was quieter. Great card, especially for AGP. DVD upconvert support etc makes it a great card for a media pc to attach to an hdmi tv or entertainment system.
Summary: This card helped me achieve my goal of running my computer display out to my 37" TV. I like the on board HDMI which mated right up to the TV and is giving good, totally digital, AV. You need to have at least a 450 Watt power supply to support the card. The box I have it in is a little old and doesn't have a pci express slot, which is what most of the new vid cards are.
Bottom line is this: Good performance for a good price.

Summary: This graphics adapter is suitable for mid-level gameplay, any amount of video editing, streaming movies, and watching dvd's, all at a fair price. It is definitely worth buying if you are looking for the best budget performance. However, keep in mind during the purchase that to use a graphics card, the voltage of your system has to be adequate to power it. This is a good product, and reliable at that, giving you decent performance, while keeping your wallet feeling heavy.
Summary: works good, installed easily. Just dont expect hdmi sound through the hdmi calbe. You will have to run a separate audio for that. The picture through the hdmi cable to my tv was great, just had to run a separate line from my tv for the sound.
Summary: I have a Shuttle PC (shoe box size) with a SB61G2v3 system board that has on board VGA and an single width AGP slot. With the growing abundance of video online, particularly HD video, my machine was unable to do any better than unwatchable herky jerky video with the onboard VGA. Aside from display load the CPU was being overwhelmed by the decoding work trying to decompress the HD video stream.
