EXCELLENT board for AGP, wish it included a power cable

Summary: This AGP board worked flawlessly, supports Steam and other game platforms well, smooth graphics action. Wish it included a 3-to-6 inch power cable extender or inline jack, but that's trivial...
Summary: This product gave three different display outputs, also the AGP interfaces it has is good for anyone with an older computer system. Would recommend this video card for anyone upgrading an older computer system..
Summary: I have an old Athlon XP 3200+ on an nForce2 motherboard. The driver installation was a little tricky (had to install the CD drivers first before the most current Catalyst 12.6 Hotfix drivers would install). Wasn't too difficult though. The card just didn't work well with my PC. From start up to loading programs to shut down everything seemed bogged down by the card/drivers and would take easily twice as long.
Summary: Card started overheating about a year after buying this card. Ended up thinking it may have been a hard drive problem or software problem for nearly a month before figuring out it was just that this card was overheating, and there isn't an option I can find to do anything about overclocking the fan to help at all. So I'd suggest just no getting this card because it's pretty likely it's going to burn out if you try using it for much of anything.
Summary: I replaced my NVidia GeForce 6600 AGP with the HIS Radeon HD 4650 AGP and what a big difference it made! Better picture and frame to frame speed. Way better in every way. I have Windows XP Home and Pentium 4, 2.4 Ghz system with 4 GB of RAM. Installing the video card was easy and installation of the drivers and driver update was a cinch. Highly recommend to anyone using AGP of lesser capability.
Summary: This card might keep your AGP running but don't expect to play. No COD4, Ghost Advanced 2, Splinter Cell DA, ect. downright unplayable. Fan died and card burnt in 6 months, nice. Replaced with ice4670, the ice is just as bad, horrible, choppy, freezing display. Card was outperformed by my tweaked x1950, absolutely no comparison to the HD3850, it runs about like a early x800. Pretty lame these days. HD650watt, 50A single rail. P4 Hyper-Threader 3.06G, 2048 mem.
Summary: I purchased this AGP video card and like most offers, it had a rebate offer with it. $10.00. Not a fortune but it made the card more affordable. I have waited going on 4 months now for the rebate check and still have never received it. There appears to be no way to actually e-mail them about the rebate. The status says the check is cut but, still no rebate. If you want to buy a card from HIS, plan on the sales price without any rebate they offer.
Summary: My younger brother had received an old gaming computer (up to date circa 2006) that was outdated. It was being unused for years, until i told him that i would get it running again. I updated it to windows 7 and loaded new drivers for everything. downloaded minecraft which he was dying to play, only to find out it wouldnt run due to the old card. I bought this, and it arrived very fast. Switched out the cards with ease, and loaded minecraft. It has worked perfectly since.
