Blue Screen times 2

George, Amazon
16 July 2011
  • Summary: Half of this product worked for a while. It was installed on a new Win 7 system. After installation I began getting Windows 7 Blue Screen with blinking CPU power light every time the screen saver activated. It was a nuisance to have to restart computer.

  • Summary: I have a 46 inch hd tv I pluged this card into, while scrolling the word are choppy at every setting possible so it's not user fault. Now I was thinking let me try my 72 inch see if it's my tv nope same thing. While watching a movie the video is running faster then the sound.

false advertising

Ken F, Amazon
10 December 2010
  • Summary: Bought this video card specifically to run 3 monitors, Ati says on there website it will accept 3 monitors but you need to read the fine print. To run three DVI or VGA monitors you need to buy a $85 powered adapter.

Great Product Marred By Bad Customer Service

Sang-Keun K., Newegg
23 November 2010
  • Summary: If this issue with the company (and not the card) can get resolved, this card definitely deserves a 5 star rating. It can keep itself cold with a great sink and powerful yet quiet fan.
  • Pros: Great Design: I have blue cold cathodes and the card face picks it up very nicely Easy to Overclock: Though it comes with overclocked memory and core speeds, the ceiling is high and on par with other high-end 5770s. Complete Package: The box looks very nice, not too gawdy but very detailed and so...
  • Cons: I hate it when a company makes a great product, but doesn't invest the time to follow up on emails or take care of their customers outside of technical issues. I bought the card back in June and applied for a rebate that had made it a great deal at the time. It is the end of November now and I st...

  • Summary: I don't suggest you buy this if unless you're using an AMD processor.
  • Pros: Looks good on a few of my games
  • Cons: black cracks across screen on my newer games intermittently pop up. Freezes computer or at least has to reset it'self freezing game in the process. I've updated bios and all other drivers. Problem is that I had such high hopes that I'd get it working that now I'm over my month warranty and am stu...

very disappointed

Giddel S., Newegg
9 June 2010
  • Summary: I am returning it and going back to Nvidia cards.
  • Pros: keeps pretty cool
  • Cons: I have an old Nvidia 8800GT card which is able to play my games at 58-60 fps on high settings. With this Radeon 5770 card I only get 40s fps. On Street Fighter IV, 2x Antialaising I get 40-45 FPS, with my 8800GT I get 16x Antialaising 58-60 FPS. GTA 4 the game is very choppy and I only get around...
