  • Conclusion: As we discussed on the Radeon HD 5770 launch day, there's a lot to like about this fully-fledged iteration of AMD's Juniper GPU core - Most of its base specifications tally up well against the likes of the Radeon HD 4870 and 4890, and in terms of functionality there are myriad improvements on offer compared to AMD's previous generation of graphics boards, from DirectX 11 support through to Eyefinity and improved texture filtering to a handful of video playback tweaks and...

  • Conclusion: Radeon GPUs have always been pretty hot (temperature-wise). I remember two years ago, when AMD/ATI released their Radeon HD 4850 ... Boy! the temperature produced by the graphics card was blisteringly hot, easily reaching 60-80 degrees. Luckily, their Radeon HD 5770 GPUs ain't as hot as its predecessor. Still, HIS made sure that their Radeon HD 5770 are properly cooled by their IceQ5 cooler.

  • Excerpt: The HD5770 seems to be a sweet spot for the gamer who wants a decent card that would still be a performance upgrade even over a HD48XX card and achieve the sought after full DX11 support. With HIS's version, the card come right out of the box with a full DX11 game and allows the gamer to buy the card, download the free game and actually use their card without much of a wait.

  • Summary: Finally we have been able to check out the Radeon HD 5770 and HIS were kind enough to provide us with a sample just days before the official announcement from AMD. The Radeon HD 5770 is probably the most anticipated new Radeon for us, as it will deliver DirectX 11 support to the mainstream, and it does so in a graphics card that is still capable of playing games in all their glory.
