The fan started making very loud noises about 4 months ...

Mary Finney, Amazon
30 July 2014
  • Summary: The fan started making very loud noises about 4 months after I purchased it new. The options for display types on the card are also a bit smashed together, and I had to buy many adapters in order to make my VGA monitors work with the card.

Good card. Short lifespan.

Shawn, Amazon
11 June 2014
  • Summary: I used this for two years. It ran all the games I wanted on 1920x1080 with medium to high settings. Sadly, the two year warranty was just long enough. Thirty months of use and it ceased to function.

Small problem with fan

LeoInishi, Amazon
12 October 2012
  • Summary: The card itself works wonderfully, however three months after purchase the fan was making too much noise. I had to open it and oil the bearing to fix this. Usually fans need reoiling after much longer use than 3 months.

Bought for Crossfire

MadMac, Amazon
7 September 2012
  • Summary: Paired with a XFX 6790 (no longer available). I have a side intake 200m fan blowing on my crossfire setup ( ). The temps are reaching near 70C while gaming. I'm not so impressed with CrossFire. One or two benchmarks show an increase but most don't. Win score didn't even change 7.6.
