Summary: Great video card, it's relatively cheap, light weight and small. I bought this to replace my ATI Radeon HD4550 and so far so good. I have played all the latest games on it without any problems. I have edited photos, converted videos, watched high quality movies and done everything I could possibly imagine. There is no need to buy expensive video cards unless you are a die hard PC Gamer or Graphics Buff.
Summary: I am a big fan of windows media center. But until I found this card I was unable to get uncompressed audio from my HTPC. This card allowed me to recycle my ps3 to the bedroom. Now I have a complete HTPC that plays 3D blurays, uncompressed audio and can handle cable card tv signals. I am ordering another one of these for backup.

Summary: Nice card. I am a fan of HIS products. Have 2 HIS 5450's that are about 3yrs old, and still run fine. Not a heavy gamer card, very nice video for your simple computers. This card is running on a 5 year old technology, but new, Intel board, DX48BT2. My concerns: Product was not new as posted, slightly used, ok hence the price. Drivers disc was toast as it was scratched. Package it was sent in was a paper mail bag, not even padded.
Summary: I cut the cord on cable/satellite over a year ago but wanted to pick up local OTA HD channels and build a home theater PC (HTPC) to use as channel guide and DVR. I looked at all the options available for a 1 GB video card with an HDMI connection and was thrilled when I found this option for under $50. It installed quickly and I downloaded the latest drivers and configuration utility from the manufacturer without issues.
Summary: I picked up this card, because I wanted an inexpensive HDMI solution for my HTPC. I've been very pleased with its performance so far. It's quiet and powerful enough to drive my TV at full 1920x1080 resolution. The AMD Catalyst software even allowed me to extend the display to get rid of the think black boarder initially around my picture. I really like that it carries video and audio in one simple connection.
Summary: Installed this on a aging P4 computer. I needed to watch my TV recordings, from the other room, but the integrated graphics with only 8 MB of video memory could not decode the video. Plugged this in and I'm up and running. Got the latest drivers and now my videos are running smooth. It's all in the hardware acceleration! Now I can use NextPVR to stream TV across the home with no wires, nice.

Summary: $35 for a 1GB 64bit DDR3 video card? That is a good deal! I run two of these cards in a Windows 8 business machine to support dual monitors. They work great. I don't think they're up to the task of running higher end games. Which is fine. If I wanted a gaming PC, I would expect to spend 10 times as much on a video card. For everything besides gaming, these are great cards.
Summary: very easy to install (of course) & the software (catalyst i believe) works fine. has no fan (fine for me (quieter!), but not so good for heavy gamers) best bang for your buck for 'neflix' & 'dual monitor' users (in my opinion) advice: when installing, be sure to restart the computer over & over again each step of the installation process.
