Peter, Amazon
17 November 2013
  • Summary: Great video card, it's relatively cheap, light weight and small. I bought this to replace my ATI Radeon HD4550 and so far so good. I have played all the latest games on it without any problems.

Gaming Card

v4vendetta, Amazon
30 June 2013
  • Summary: Purchased this for a friend a while back for gaming. While it cannot handle heavy graphics, it can probably handle light gaming -- that is, most games on median settings.

Best card for HTPC

esabs, Amazon
20 January 2013
  • Summary: I am a big fan of windows media center. But until I found this card I was unable to get uncompressed audio from my HTPC. This card allowed me to recycle my ps3 to the bedroom. Now I have a complete HTPC that plays 3D blurays, uncompressed audio and can handle cable card tv signals.

  • Summary: Nice card. I am a fan of HIS products. Have 2 HIS 5450's that are about 3yrs old, and still run fine. Not a heavy gamer card, very nice video for your simple computers. This card is running on a 5 year old technology, but new, Intel board, DX48BT2.

Perfect & cheap option for my HTPC

#1 Amazon Fan, Amazon
17 December 2012
  • Summary: I cut the cord on cable/satellite over a year ago but wanted to pick up local OTA HD channels and build a home theater PC (HTPC) to use as channel guide and DVR. I looked at all the options available for a 1 GB video card with an HDMI connection and was thrilled when I found this option for under...

Great card for the money

  • Summary: I picked up this card, because I wanted an inexpensive HDMI solution for my HTPC. I've been very pleased with its performance so far. It's quiet and powerful enough to drive my TV at full 1920x1080 resolution.

Great Upgrade over integraded graphics

James Battaglia, Amazon
17 September 2012
  • Summary: Installed this on a aging P4 computer. I needed to watch my TV recordings, from the other room, but the integrated graphics with only 8 MB of video memory could not decode the video. Plugged this in and I'm up and running. Got the latest drivers and now my videos are running smooth.

  • Summary: $35 for a 1GB 64bit DDR3 video card? That is a good deal! I run two of these cards in a Windows 8 business machine to support dual monitors. They work great. I don't think they're up to the task of running higher end games. Which is fine.

  • Summary: very easy to install (of course) & the software (catalyst i believe) works fine. has no fan (fine for me (quieter!), but not so good for heavy gamers) best bang for your buck for 'neflix' & 'dual monitor' users (in my opinion) advice: when installing, be sure to restart the computer over & over...
