Summary: I got this graphic card to play battlefield 3. So far its doing a great job. - stays 40 idle / 50 full load. - very quite. - Its a long card but no problem for my case. (I see people rated this card negative review because of that. Their fault in my opinion.
Summary: Pros: Just received two of these cards today and unlocked all 1536 shaders on both of them. Stock voltate with 900Mhz core clock. ...mining BitCoins Cons: None Other Thoughts: Do not flash this card with a 6970 BIOS. Save a copy of the existing BIOS and then unlock the shaders with RBE. I did the flashing off a bootable USB drive with DOS. I used atiflash and did both cards. 1. Saved stock BIOS as 6950.bin 2. Opened 6950.bin in RBE 3. Fourth tab, unlock shaders 4.
Summary: I might be the odd man out, but I did not buy this graphics card for gaming. Instead, having custom-built a professional digital audio workstation, I was looking for a card that could handle displaying on 2 PC monitors plus one 32" HDTV, and this was the ticket. Despite giving this card 5 stars, however, setting up 3 monitors was a real pain at first.
Summary: Manages everything I have thrown at it, Ultra with BF3, All on high with SWTOR. Get this card Now!! Pro: Runs Cool and stays cool under load.It will run today's most demanding games. Get two while you at it. Cons: Nonse so far I am enjoy it fully.
Summary: Amazing graphics card, comes OC @ 870Mhz and its easy to unlock shaders and unleash the hidden power of a 6970 card. Very cool given the cooler gigabyte supplies - doesn't pass 57c in full load.
Summary: I bought this card to replace my Geforce GTX 560 which wouldn't render Starcraft 2 properly and had graphical glitches no matter which version of drivers I used. This card works flawlessly with every game I tried including HOMM6, Batman: Arkham City, and several others. The card runs quiet considering it has 3 fans, but does take up quite a bit of case space.
