Average Card

Morphling, Amazon
18 June 2013
  • Summary: I'll start with saying this card isn't awesome, but it isn't terrible. I held back on giving it 3 stars, simply because this card has gotten a bad rep for the bios issue (if you see choppy lines, you have to flash a new bios that gigabyte released). The good - It's small. Fits in my micro atx build with ease.

Good card for limited increase in variety and performance of 2D low power software applications... 3D is fairly limited

Robert Kent Igoe, Amazon
23 March 2013
  • Summary: If you want improved video performance from your compact computer, but have built in limitations in available power supply, this is video card is an possible solution. I have noticed a considerable increase in modest video usage applications, such as internet, videos, or light gaming. Not good for 3D, or advanced applications.

Too long to install in lenovo slim factor case

clearanceman, Amazon
27 February 2013
  • Summary: Tried to install in a lenovo slim factor core i3 case. It was about 1/3 of an inch too long, it hit the hard drive. I had to send it back. The purpose of a half height card is to fit in a slim line or smaller case. Should have been shorter.

That much power? Really?

TJ, Amazon
24 October 2012
  • Summary: Didn't find out until delivery that this card requires a power supply of 400w. Sheesh! That's a lot for a low profile, single slot card. What am I, running a nuclear submarine? Wouldn't do snap with my measly 180w power supply on HP Pavilion. I guess I'll be returning and search for a low power usage card.

Great video card!

Nexgen Builder 23, Amazon
29 July 2012
  • Summary: This is a great video card! I read up on the 6450 and later Radeon series specs. For the average user, the 5450 series is more than needed while using less power than the later cards. The Gigabyte card that I have so far is working well. For the price, this card is a really good bet.
