Summary: It is a very good performer for 1440p. Pretty much can max out everything at 1440p. Its temperature under full load is very reasonable and it is not too noisy. However it cannot be overclocked. Stock speed is 1000MHz and increase it is to 1050MHz and video driver crash in desktop mode.
Pros: low temperature and not noisy at all. Very good preform at 1440p
Summary: Got this to replace a reference design 6950. So far it has been super fast and powerful but it does draw more power. At 100% GPU load using Furmark it is somewhat loud but otherwise it is a great card. The added games from AMD make this a no-brainer purchase.
Summary: Great card overall. Just a heads up, the older reviews (early-mid 2012) had the unlocked versions of these cards, Gigabyte now locks them (late 2012?.) Other than that.. it runs great. No problems whatsoever. Can still squeeze out a little OC but nothing much, still it is insanely fast. I wish I had known it was locked before, but it's not NCIX's fault!
Pros: FAST!, Quiet at idle, Stays really cool even under full load (under 60 so far for me, with 20c ambient)
Cons: VOLTAGE LOCKED!!! That means very little OC'ing, what a shame! Has a great cooler but voltages cannot be adjusted.
Summary: I replaced the top card in my crossfire setup with this to reduce temps, the card it replaced (MSI 7970 oc) was a great card but in crossfire produced temps of 90-95c @ full load, this is during winter months (uk) so i bought the windforce & to my delight this card is usually around 60c underload & 70c if pushed hard and also much quieter than the reference design. 5/5 for the cooling solution!
