Summary: Installing it was a bit of an ordeal; in addition to the card, I also had to get a new power supply to support it (this is very important. Word to prospective buyers, check your power supply to make sure it's 500W!) After the hassle, though, the improvements were immediately apparent - games that regularly ran around 30-40 fps instantly shot up to 60.
Summary: This is probably the best value card around for AMD, or even compared to NVidia. I would say this card will easily compete with a GTX 760 2GB or even a 670 GTX. It will reach around the same frame rates on high-end games as these cards on high settings around a solid 30+ (maybe 60 depending on the game) fps. This card will stay very cool and looks amazing. Great to show off in a system! Pros: - 3GB of VRAM ....
Summary: I bought this gigabyte 7950 to replace my old XFX GTX285 because the cooling design looked promising and the performance reviews looked good. When it showed up, I just installed it in my PCI-E X16 slot with 8 pin and 6 pin power cables, booted up the system, and installed the AMD drivers from AMD's website rather than using the disk. I bought this card for performance in gaming, so I'll put my current experience here.
Summary: My only issue is that I have this connected to a 37" flat screen and the desktop and windows is not sharp and crisp. My mother board looks sharper. Now when I put a game this is where this card is awesome. I have PS3 games in both platforms and it was an eye opener playing Need For Speed in the computer and through PS3. This card outclassed the PS3 easily hands down.
Summary: This card's fantastic. You've read it in all the other reviews. I just wanted to give a heads-up to anyone having issues that might be at the point of returning it. If you have a UEFI bios and you are not getting your card to work, there are some Gigabyte boards (perhaps other vendors as well) that had later possible updates to UEFI that don't recognize this card. If this applies, you'll have to downgrade your BIOS.
Summary: Pros: This card is a great performer. Sadly GIGABYTE has been selling low ASIC, voltage locked, boost only editions recently. These are good enough to hit stock BIOS clocks, but require higher voltage. [+] Nice Stock Performance - The newer revisions come with the FZ1 boost bios @ 1000Mhz Core / 1250Mhz Memory.
Powerful, Well Priced Card - Great at gaming, getting better in other areas.

Summary: TL;DR - Windows gaming on this card is top notch, but the drivers still need polishing for day to day use. Linux performance is getting better with each driver update, and the latest really made this card hit it's stride. This card was the right amount of bang for the right amount of cash when building out my new PC. I had plans to use this build for both gaming and work purposes - gaming in windows, working in linux.
Summary: This component was definitely overpriced upon release but after a few months it has become a good deal for the performance it provides. I ran a single card for awhile and could attain a consistent 60 FPS in most games with maxed out in-game settings and conservative driver settings.
