Summary: After researching, this is apparently a common problem. I've read several reviews of people that had to go through 3 or more cards in a year. Mine was broken fresh out of the box. How they stay in business making these things is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and get an Asus or Saphire.
Summary: Upgraded to this from a Radeon HD 5670. Mildly disappointed it doesn't perform at the level i was expecting. It randomly black screens with lines all over when hooked up over HDMI. Apparently its a BIOS issue with Gigabyte 7950 cards. Update: 7/12/13 Card has finally taken its toll. Crashed my pc many times, tried every revision of driver out there all have the same issue with HDMI. Played email tag with gigabyte for a week.
Two in a row didn't work, gave up and got a Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB DDR5 instead

Summary: I couldn't get any video at all with this card and my HP Pavilion Elite HPE-570t. For the first time in 25 years I went to a local computer repair shop and they had no luck with the first card and with the second card were able to get video in a computer other than mine but couldn't get the video card's fans to work at all. (Even when the card got so hot that it started to smell funny.
Summary: I was looking for a high end card to upgrade my computer and this one looked pretty good. All the reviews said it was a great card. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I ended up getting two of these cards. The first one exploded the first time I hooked it up to my rig. Thought it was just faulty, so I sent it back for a replacement.
