Summary: This video card specs is good enough for gaming but the problem is it always hang or freeze when you play. The first time I used this, it lags, a bad sign for me. As I continue playing with this card, my game freezes and need to go to task bar just to end the task. I tried reinstalling the card but the same, it freezes. I check other website and found out that this is the problem with the card. They created a new version for this card but I don't know if it fix it.
Summary: Shipping felt like it took FOREVER but that's probably from all the anticipation. I've been running this card about a week now and have put it through numerous and frequently repeated stress tests from 2004's Half-Life 2 Source SDK to FutureMark11. As for the driver and crash issues that everyone keeps reporting I have had only one crash. I never even touched the included driver disc, installed the card - turned on the PC then went straight to AMD's website.
Summary: I bought this as a budget card when it was on sale, just to allow myself to game some easy titles (TF2, BF3 on low/med settings, HON, etc). It worked well as long as you didn't use any of the software it came with. Who really uses the CDs it comes with nowadays anyway? Just install the latest software and drivers from ATI/AMD's site and you're good to go. I got around 40fps on BF3 and TF2 was a breeze...but this card really shined when I crossfired it with another 7770.
Summary: Great low cost/great performing graphics card. If you're looking to get into PC gaming or looking to build a good budget machine, this card is a great deal. It will run most games that have come out in the past 2-3 years at High detail settings at 1920x1080 resolution at smooth frame rates. I'll admit i'm a little biased since i own 2 of them in a Crossfire config but i've not had an issue with these since i've installed them.
Summary: Great Specs, specs for gaming, and yes it is, can be use for games. The bad part is you can only use it for 10mins or less, coz it will freeze or hang every-time. I bought this card and it cannot be refunded, I tried to get a new and better one but they can only do is to replace the card with the same item and same defects. So that's why they're selling these for less. They want to get rid of these.
Summary: This video card is at the sweet spot of price and performance. The Gigabyte GV-R777OC-1GD can play any modern video game at good quality on a 1080p display. Better hardware isn't needed unless you enjoy performance tweaking or want to do multi-monitor gaming. However, you need at least the Catalyst 12.6 drivers and the F5 firmware before the GV-R777OC-1GD card is stable.
