Summary: As for 5750 performance, in TF2 100fps average @ 1400x900 with eye candy maxed. L4d2 average 70fps with same settings. No screen flickers, no lock ups, no issues. Temp is nice and cool with the card never reaching above 50C in my antec 900 case.
Pros: 1. The 5750 CAN run 3 monitors if you buy the RIGHT card. People really need to use google before they buy something and write a bad review because they don't understand the technology. With that said, this Gigabyte card will not because it doesn't have a display port. In order for eyefinity to w...
Cons: People that bash a product because they didn't research how Eyefinity actually works. IT Guy needs to read this http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-eyefinity-6-displayport,2596.html
Summary: Supports 3 monitors at once, so you can have a DVD playing on the right, website on the left, and your actual work in the middle monitor. Was easy to set up (compared to my 9600XT using component TV out and VGA out dual "monitors").
Pros: Fast, runs every demanding game I own at 60+ FPS besides crysis at 2-4x AA, 8x Anti-Aliasing, and all other settings maxed. Also, runs 15f cooler then my 3850 under same conditions. At 50% fan speed is quieter then other cards.
Cons: Takes up two slots, should drop displayport (nobody I have met has a TV or monitor that uses that) and make it a single slot.
Summary: I got frustrated with ATI drivers years ago and switched to Nvidia cards. I decided to give AMD/ATI cards another go this time around and the drivers are better, but could still use some improvements.
Pros: Good image quality and frame rates. Plays most games well at 1920x1200 with the quality turned up. I was able to overclock the card to 800MHz core and 1300MHz memory with no trouble. I can't hear the HS/fan on this card over the other fans in my system, which isn't very loud, so I was happy about...
Cons: ATI Catalyst control panel could still use some improvements in my opinion.
Summary: Unless you're sure this card won't quit on you, don't buy it.
Pros: Great video card, it can run Crysis! It can also run most if not all high def games, such as Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2, and others.
Cons: It died! After about the first month of ownership with my first card I turned on my computer one morning and the MOBO made beeps signaling a video card failure. GigaByte sent me a new one and again, after about a month it failed.
Summary: I cannot express how bad of a deal this card is. The fix to my problem? Buy another card the same model to run as a slave so I can get more than 2 connections at once. Working in IT I always have all three of my monitors in use, I could actually use a fourth one sometimes.
Pros: Looks cool
Cons: DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT TO USE MORE THAN TWO PORTS AT A TIME!! I got this to replace my old x1650PRO and my x300 PCIe cards that I use with three monitors. You CAN NOT use more than 2 ports at a time. It was either both DVI connections or a DVI & DSUB. This card DOES NOT SUPPORT ALL THREE AT THE S...
