Summary: This is a great card for the price. It was an easy install on my old Athlon X2. Rather than scrapping the old machine, I got this card for cheap got it up and running again. I don't expect gaming performance from this card, I just use it to watch TV shows and movies. The passive heatsink design is nice in that it helps cut down on noise. The card idles at about 40ºC. I would imagine that having a side fan blowing on the card, it would be much lower.
Pros: Fanless design = nice and quiet, Price ($29.99 on sale) is hard to beat, Easy install and doesn't require a power connector, just plug into a pcie slot and go
Summary: On Win7, I get a score of 3.8 for video with my older Gigabyte HD4550. This being a newer card and slightly higher hierarchy than 4550, I decided to get it. I ended up with a lower score of 3.5. Maybe someday a newer driver from ATI will improve it?
Summary: This card was for my PC. I was running on board video and although I didn't have many complaints, it did get sluggish when playing HD video. I downloaded the newest drivers and installed the card. Everything is smooth now with no lag. It's definitely not a high end card, but for the price I paid I am very happy.
