    It hard not to find something to like about these cards. Performance wise they both beat out the 8800GTS 640mb by significant margins in some areas. The 8800GT topped the HD3870 in most tests, but the ATI card was usually a close second. However, the HD3870 has a lower price point and that makes it an attractive option in the best bang for a buck department.
