Summary: Not given to gaming, my requirements upon a graphics card are hardly demanding. This Gigabyte GeForce 8400 GS has shown no weaknesses in the use I put it to, mainly surfing, viewing a few movies, and a bit of YouTube, and has worked without any sort of mess. I like it just fine.
Summary: This graphics card is amazing for the price. It can encode movies very quickly as well as play games. It probably can't play the latest and greatest games, but anything before a couple years ago it can play easily.
Summary: Installed the first card, worked fine for 2 weeks then the screen went black. Pulled the card out and the PC started working again with the inbuilt driver. Sent back to Amazon and received a new one (all of which was very efficient). Put in new one, nothing.
Excellent. Quiet. Works with Ubuntu 10.10 perfectly

Summary: I fitted this to an ASROCK motherboard on a system running Ubuntu 10.10. It was worked straight away. System settings and search for drivers highlighted the need for an updated driver. I downloaded and activated the new driver.
Summary: I was looking for a cheap PCIe graphics card to upgrade from the onboard graphics of my 3 Ghz, Pentium 4 motherboard. I was apprehensive, owing to potential overheating problems, of buying second-hand, so decided to go for something new and cheap. As a 63 year-old pensioner, cost was a big factor.
Summary: I upgraded a Dell Precison 380 to Windows 7 Professional and the installed ATI Fire GL V3100 could not wake up the screen on the DVI port. I searched Amazon bought this card because it was cheap!
