Jared R., Newegg
13 January 2013
  • Pros: Awesome card runs beautifully! 110 fps in SWTOR and 80 in BF3. ALso stays very cool at 39C
  • Cons: The packaging was very good, but somehow the 2 tabs on one end of the fans broke so its just hanging there had to get that fixed and didnt want ot send it back and wait another week. so i fixed it but should not have been broken to begin with. would have had to been packaged that way which leads ...

No SLI Connector

Corey H., Newegg
9 January 2013
  • Summary: I'll give these cards a good test after I go purchase a SLI connector that should have been included.
  • Pros: Great Top of the line card! Can't wait to get these running.
  • Cons: Bought two of these for SLI and for the price you would think you get a few extra accommodations. Opened the box and there was two power converters, cd, pamphlet with bare instructions. This is the only high end card I've purchased that has come like this. Every AMD board i've purchased has come ...

A little disappointed

Mike R., Newegg
17 September 2012
  • Pros: Nice and cool, doesn't get loud unless I crank up the fan speed. It does exactly what it's supposed to do.
  • Cons: The shroud that covers the heatsinks is just a piece of thin plastic; mine has warped a bit and sometimes causes the fans to rub against it making a rather annoying noise.

Good.

Nancy P., Newegg
28 July 2012
  • Summary: well, lets address the elephant in the room, this is not the true high end kepler, this is Nvidia's mid level entry, gk110 the real high end kepler is juuuuuust on the horizon so if you can wait, wait because that bad boy is going to be crazy.
  • Pros: Outstanding gaming performance, incredibly quiet, and very low temps.
  • Cons: Price, not the real high end kepler card. weak gpgpu.

Great Card but a little Disappointing.

Anonymous, Newegg
9 July 2012
  • Summary: SLI has improved over the years but its still needs alot of work. Back when 8800 GTX SLI only gain 5 frames depending on games, now SLI has a gain of around 50% frame depending on games.
  • Pros: Awsome heatsink and fan. Most cards don't have 3 fan and this one does. It stays at a decent temp for what it is, when gaming, but sometimes I still worry because temp would go to 80 cel. Don't need to manually turn up fan and make loud noise like my other graphic cards, just to keep it cool. Aws...
  • Cons: Kind of disappointed that I paid over 500 for a card that doesn't run fast on Batman Arkham City with max setting on 2560x1600. I knew that already and did my research but this is the only top of the line graphic card for the time of buy. Nvidia's CSAA was completely horrible. There was only a 1%...

Excellent choise

Rusch, Amazon
30 June 2012
  • Summary: This GTX680 from gigabyte it's just really good. It runs really cool, peaking at 50C while overclocked to 1250mhz. I'm giving it 4 stars due to the lack of accesories that were included with it.

Functionally great, packaging suspect

Nicholaus Shrewsbury, Amazon
30 June 2012
  • Summary: I've had this card hooked up for about 2 weeks now, and it has played and ran well since I got it. The packaging it came in was quite suspect though. I presumed that the product I was purchasing was brand new, but when I cracked open the shipping box the product box wasn't factory sealed and the...

Great card

Thomas M. Lysaght, Amazon
30 June 2012
  • Summary: The card does what is it supposed to. great frame rates, clock speeds and specs running as advertised. Card did not run as cool as hoped with triple fans. Have to manually set the fan speed up higher to keep it cool.

Replacement RMA

Damir H., Newegg
15 June 2012
  • Summary: I bought the Gigabyte GTX680 when it came out, and the fan died, so I RMA'd it, and Gigabyte upgraded me to the OC Windforce, even it's slower, but it's still a great card, and you can SLI two safely on only a 650-700W PSU.
  • Pros: +Cooler is fantastic. Keeps noise low, and temperature around 59-63c under gaming/benchmark. +1150MHz out of box boost. +1250MHz max OC, with memory +450 +Adaptive Vsync works great, and can provide performance boost to stay 60fp/s in games like Crysis 2 on DX11+HD textures, Skyrim, etc. +Heaven ...
  • Cons: -Not as fast as my Reference GTX680 (1325MHz, +500 memory) -Gigabyte took FOREVER to ship my card back. Whole process took ONE MONTH!! -Only a 3-5% faster than GTX 670 clock for clock. -
