When it runs it does so great

Sven W., Newegg
8 September 2015
  • Pros: Card stays cool and gets decent framerates, makes most games playable at pretty high settings (more true a few years ago than now).
  • Cons: Card was always a bit flaky, random crashes and the "video card has stopped responding" messages made for some frustrating play. Underclocking the card helped but kind of defeated the purpose. Card finally died just under the three year warranty mark, making this the first video card that I have ...

Driver Crashes

Gary D., Newegg
30 September 2013
  • Summary: not sure yet what to do. Xmas is coming and maybe santa will fill my stocking.
  • Pros: Not Sure, it got good reviews in computer the magazines and was at the time the best bang for the buck.
  • Cons: I have had this Card Almost a year, overall I have been happy with, until I started playing Metro Last Light. I thought it was the game being a little buggy and from the game forums I saw other people (not with the same card) having game crashes, new drivers were issued and patches for the game t...

A little Quirky

Victor K., Newegg
7 April 2013
  • Pros: Quiet, good graphics. A large improvement over my GTX 295
  • Cons: A bit temperamental....I have crashes and freezes since installing this card. This may be partly a fault of my cpu, which is a bottom end i-7, but never had issues with the GTX295

Good Card, Terrible Customer Support

Cody H., Newegg
5 January 2013
  • Pros: This Is a great card and I have had no problems with it whatsoever. The card is as described by the seller. I can run all the games I have on ultra with no problems.
  • Cons: Terrible customer support on Gigabytes end. DO NOT EXPECT TO RECEIVE YOUR REBATES FROM THIS COMPANY. I received my graphics card on the 13th of December and immediately started with the rebate information. In a few days they rejected my claim. I called the company and their office was closed for ...

Gigabyte 660 ti

gary h., Newegg
24 September 2012
  • Summary: My rig: i7 950 Intel. 3.06 GHz Cache 8mb LGA1366 pushed to 3.2 GHz. Gigabyte x58a-ud3r motherboard. 12 gb GSkill dd3 low wait state ram. Win7 64 bits on a ssd drive. Mid-tower Thermaltake with 775w power. and a 24'' Asus monitor. A rock solid setup.
  • Pros: For my 2 cents the price was on the low side for the 660 ti's. It preforms close enough to the 670's to save $100. I am buying another card next month for a sli setup. 2 of these cards come within a few frames of the gtx 690 when it’s unclocked!
  • Cons: The cooling fans work fair at keeping temps. between 35c - 75c, but the unclocked card runs too hot at full load for a long gaming run of swtor set at very high res. For me 75c is a maximum over-clocking temp. not a stock temp. This is where I start looking for a cooler solution. If you are just ...
