Summary: I would not recommend this specific card, or any of the gtx 600 series now that I have read so many similar reviews while troubleshooting my own problem, to anyone. Now I have a nice expensive paper weight and worthless integrated graphics to game on for the foreseeable future.
Pros: While the card was working properly it ran everything I needed it to without trouble.
Cons: I have only owned this card for 7 months, Ive never overclocked it, computer case has proper ventilation, and I game on my pc less than once a week. At first I started getting some kernel error and a black screen flash repeatedly while my pc idles or during any activity. Now it has gotten to the ...
Summary: When browsing or normal activity, its all good. Get into intense game play, it frequently goes to black screen for a few seconds. Took the time to send the card to NVIDIA for warranty work, expected to get a card back in exchange, instead they held the card for OVER A MONTH, no video card during...
Pros: Its NVIDIA, with 2 GB of DDR5 Memory.
Cons: Keep getting black screens during game play, RMA process left me without a video card for over a month, no resolution.
Cons: Didn't even last a full year. Won't ever buy gigabyte brand again. Have had EVGA or other cards and they last forever never failed by the time to upgrade. bought this one cause it was cheaper, guess I know hwy know.
Summary: Gigabyte needs to get their heads straight if they think I will buy another product from them again.
Pros: Plays most games a medium, possibly high settings.
Cons: This one thing has annoyed me to no end and has just recently become a major problem. I first got this card almost a year ago, when i first turn my computer on an annoying clicking noise started coming from the right fan, then disappeared right after it went to the desktop screen. Now almost a ye...
Cons: Got it DOA, but since I didn't actually start the build til I had everything and whatever I couldn't return it. Everything was plugged in and the fans were turning, but no go. Nvidia drivers didn't recognize, couldn't connect my monitors to it, etc. Went with the EVGA 660, it looks way better and...
Summary: I'd recommend this card highly if I weren't writing this review on a screen that is nearly covered in random pixels. I can barely read what I'm typing. Hello? Hello? Anyone out there? Seriously, I normally ignore reviews that are like, "Oh, this is one star because I had to RMA.
Pros: Great game performance, plenty of CUDA cores, good card when it works
Cons: Started going bazonkers after a couple of months for me.
Summary: I haven't bought a gigabyte graphics card before and I will not be buying one again. After having a visiontek low price no name 5770 for years the occasional fan noise drove me to buy an updated card.
Pros: Was on sale and cheap. Games perform well with it. Cooling solution is excellent till the fans start dying after a couple months of use.
Cons: 5 months after purchase one of the fans is making a terrible noise already (bearing) despite living in an illusion 300 case with a filter on the side panel and positive pressure. I also keep the fans well cleaned for the little dust that does build up. So this card didn't even make it half a year...
Summary: im a tech that does about 5 builds a week never had a problem before with any items arriving defective(broke yes but not like there were refurbished) you pay for new and get used stuff on box.
Pros: good card overall put it in a few builds that i done works ok for gaming computers
Cons: last card i bought was defective when i took it out of bag it look like something was spilled on the board of the card i installed the card anyway but it didn't work properly
Summary: It worked fine for about 6 months and then started going black which caused a computer restart and display the blue screen of death. The problem varied in failure time...sometimes right away sometimes after as much as two hours of play.
