Summary: Initially I thought that this card would be too big for my case because of its larger heatsink/fan, but it fit perfectly. The card works great. I went with this Gigabyte card over the EVGA card specifically for the fan and I feel that it was a choice. The card stays cool at 37C when it's not being stressed, and during peak use it only runs at about 45-50C. The only downfall to this card is that the fan is a little bit louder than what I expected, which doesn't say much.
Great for office and video. Don't buy this for high demand games.

Summary: This is a decent video card if you're not looking to game. The cooler is quiet and it works decently enough. Have seen some motherboards not like it well yet others do. Will not run current (2013/14) games at 1080p. At 720p it does mediocre. For people looking at this card, I would only recommend it to someone who's motherboard doesn't have a built in vga chip and they need something to keep their office or home theatre pc going. Its not a gaming card.
Summary: I built my system several years ago with two video cards and at a time when money was low I inadvertently shorted one out then a few months later the second one died. I ran to the nearest store and bought a cheap video card so I could access my computer files again, but lost the ability to run a game and a blu ray movie or even streaming a movie at the same time.
Summary: For a 2GB video card a year ago with this price was unheard of. I was originally thinking to get a 1GB video card as that's enough for me, but this 2GB one caught my eyes with not too much of a price difference. So far so good and no problem with the quality.
Summary: Embroiled in a forced upgrade from XP, I needed a card that would let me hook two old fashioned VGA monitors to my new Windows 7 box. After trying two other cards and finding out that not all DVI ports are the same size and not all would let me use my DVI-to-VGA adapter, I found out that I needed a DVI-I port, which this card has. It does not come with a DVI-to-VGA adapter, but I already had one.
Summary: I got this card for a test one just see my build started and Iv used over and over again for a back up sent's I have two diffrent graphics cards and it is a amzing card for max graphics on all games and running two monitor's.
