Summary: This card over heated from the minute I turned on the computer after installed it! The card overheated with just windows 7 running, I contacted tech support to no avail, they did not even reply!! So I tryed to find a fix by downloading newest drivers,a program to speed up the fans, any thing that I could thing of including a 300mm external fan, still no good. I haven't seen so many blue screens since NT3.0.
Summary: Because my EVGA 9600GT had heating issues I decided to bite the bullet and buy this card. Thought I was getting a great item! My configuration: Core I7 2600k - (Stock frequency) 16gb (4GBx4GB) DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM (Stock frequency) 64gb Kingston SSD HD Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3 Samsung B2230 22" LCD Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit Here is the sum of my experience: The card is OK for high end games like BF3, but it shows signs that it is struggling to keep up.
