Good card.

Jose H., Newegg
18 August 2012
  • Summary: Doesn't have SLI but I don't necessarily need that kind of setup for what I do on a daily basis.
  • Pros: Quiet as a whisper and didn't cost a fortune, easy on my PSU and stays nice n' cool.
  • Cons: Doesn't seem to be happy about stressful situations, will notice some framerate spikes under intense graphics but still trucks on through.

HDMI audio works in W7

Anonymous, Newegg
5 June 2012
  • Summary: I may have been unfair in my previous review since the HDMI audio works quite well in Windows 7. Furthermore, I have owned dozens of Gigabyte products over the years and they have ALL been qulity procts.
  • Pros: Performs as expected and yes HDMI audio works in Windows 7. I'm not sure why it didnt work in windows vista as it ids the same exact card. Windows 7 ranks it as 6.4 for Gaming graphics
  • Cons: Windows 7 ranks it as 4.8 for Aero Graphics

NO HDMI Audio useless for HTPC

Anonymous, Newegg
29 May 2012
  • Summary: Here's the thing, I'm not even sure It's even supposed to be capable of sending sound out the HDMI as there is nothing about it in the documentation. My fault really for not checking the Docs BEFORE buying. I just assumed that it did since all the other HDMI capable cards I've owned had Sound.
  • Pros: The HDMI video works
  • Cons: No audio from the HDMI. Windows says everything is installed and working but no actual sound. I'm useing Vista now but I will try it again after Upgradeing to Windows 7 later on this week but I doubt it will suddenly start working.

not so low profile

Fred C., Newegg
18 November 2011
  • Pros: it is a gigabyte. Just being gigabyte gets 3 eggs.
  • Cons: The VGA cable attached to the card is inverted and impossible to attach to a bracket on the slot on the case. Unless you have extra VGA extender cables to reach from this card. You will sacrifice VGA and only have the HDMI/DVI to work with if you desire to go LOW Profile.

Low Profile Included for What!?!

Ricky C., Newegg
4 November 2011
  • Pros: ...
  • Cons: This comes with a Low Profile Adapter. Something that was key in my search for a replacement part for a slim PC. However, unlike other cards from this manufacturer, the VGA Header Pins are at a right angle upward right at the top of the card, extending up above the low profile adapter. So even if...
