Summary: Needed a card that provided Windows 8 support for a refurbished general purpose Dell PC in our household to replace a failing WinXP machine. This video card fit the bill nicely: has current driver support and provides a performance boost over the motherboard's video chipset with the 'default' Windows driver. We don't use this machine for gaming, so a high-end card wasn't needed. It is Plenty Good Enough for general use: email, surfing the web, and an occasional video.
Summary: this a very pretty decent video card, although i am not a gamer, i used it to run graphic intense games, and it does it job no lagging, also i am running dual monitor at high resolution, and it does the job for me so basically this was i good buy,
Summary: I recently bought the Gigabyte nVidea GeForce 210 1gb DDR3 PCI express Video card for my Dell Optiplex 330 computer core duo E4500 2.2 ghz with XP SP3 and 2gb of RAM. Reason is: I'm a cheap SOB and my last machine went up in a fire and I couldn't play Crysis (1), the HalfLife 2 series, F.E.A.R. 2 and Sid Meier's Pirates! (well, I COULD play PIRATES!
Summary: This is great,I am a complete numpty when it comes to computers and I was able to set this up by myself. It was just as simple as plug in and play. I have had no issues with it and I would advise anyone to buy one. I like to play games on my PC so this works great.
Summary: I really liked the Video Card, it fixed my wife's graphics problem with the SIMS Pets game. No longer are the pets distorted. The only problem was that the card was damaged during shipping. The pin that holds the heat sink/fan to the board was broken and loose in the package. The fan also did not work, so unless I had an external fan on it, it would heat up and shut down and I would lose the video signal.
Summary: A solid little card that requires no extra power inputs. I used it in my HP I5 win7 to get a dual monitor setup. The card was easy to install and really required little knowledge to install and setup. The nvidia driver worked fine of course and auto updated as long as your an administrator on your computer.
Summary: I installed this card on my Windows 7 Home Premium machine and after installing and rebooting the screen was blank. I also tried restoring into safe mode, restoring and trying the drives on the included CD. These caused a blue-screen. After hours of trying different things I eventually just went to Best Buy and got a different card which just worked beautifully out of the box.
Summary: First item I have installed on my 5 year Gateway GT5622. Went in easily. Only thing I needed to do before hand was install DirectX. Just follow the instructions. So far so good. No problems, being a novice with video cards. I have it running to my monitor and a 2nd TV with no problem. Soon will be running a 3rd cable to my big screen and we will see. It is important to set native resolutions of the devises that art connected.
