Failed to work after driver install
4 April 2013
Summary: It worked and displayed video using the default VGA driver, but when I installed the official Nvidia drivers, Win 7 rebooted and the card was not recognized and resolution was all messed up. Could not get card to function properly. This was in a Dell 755 SFF. Put back my org card (Nvidia g100) and that worked fine.
Summary: My parents video card was failing and they needed a cheap(er) replacement since they don't do any heavy graphics applications. This product was priced perfectly and it looked awesome. It has been 6-12 months since I bought it and the plastic fan started making noises. Despite cleaning the fan it was still noisy so I sprayed some silicon spray on it and that did the trick. I'm still happy with it but the fan shouldn't be noisy at this young of age.
Summary: I got this card because I was on a budget, and it worked out very nicely. Specifically, I got it to play TES: Skyrim on my very old pc, which it did. My only complaint is the fan noise which is very loud even when simply web browsing.
Summary: Though Nvidia has has superseded this GPU by the GT610, I consider this a higher end video card. Very few cards in this class have 2gb of memory for the price and Nvidia continuously updates the driver despite it not being a current offering. A true test for this card is whether is can pass the qualification software test by DirecTV.
Summary: While this is an older model of graphics card, it has plenty of power ( 2 G of RAM !!! ) , and works great for anything but a hard core gamer. This card is perfect for someone who wants to use two monitors side-by-side, do graphics editting, or play games (other than the 'cutting edge' latest and greatest games). Highly recommended ... and it comes with Windows XP drivers, too !
Summary: If you want to watch HD videos or just have a card for a crappy computer then this is the card for you. Do not buy it for intense gaming unless u plan on playing on low graphics all day. the 2GB of ram it has just throws u off.
Summary: Not great, but I knew better than to expect much out of this card. Certainly worth the price to me. Much better than what I had on my on-board video card. Runs Photoshop and most my games (Not really into gaming). I would suggest if you're not looking for anything great, but want to upgrade your PC.
