Was able to OC to 570 levels

Michael P., Newegg
24 March 2014
  • Pros: I bought 2 of these back in 2011, one for each of my AMD Phenom II X4 955BE rigs.. One was able to OC the other was not. The one that could OC was able to reach 570 performance levels in 3DMark. At the time, $300/GPU was a good deal. Been using EVGA since the nVidia 6600 GT days. Good quality.
  • Cons: * Outdated too fast -- but that is the GPU market in general. On the bright side able to buy more GPU power for the same price every year.

Just what a gamer needed :)

Joseph J., Newegg
13 December 2012
  • Summary: my specs: AMD FX-4100 Quad Core 3.8ghz GSkill 8GB 1600mhz Ram EVGA 560ti 448 FTW Intel 180GB SSD Windows 7 64 bit Pro AsRock Extreme 3 Mobo Raidmax 730W PSU
  • Pros: 50%-60% gain from old card. I upgraded to this card from a Zotac 550ti. It was fine but not giving me the resolution and FPS that I was looking for. $170 with rebate is not bad at all. I sold my used 550ti for $85 :) I can play BF3 with high settings at 60-70fps and Planetside 2 at about 40-50fps...
  • Cons: I really wish it had a little for VRAM but I plan on getting a second one to SLI when the price is right.

Revised Post

25 September 2012
  • Pros: My first GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 448 Core had some issues with it. It died on me within a month of use, but EVGA was quick to help get it replaced with a new one. Since that time I have thrown everything at this card and it is still running like the first day I got it. So with that said I have...

Great card!

Delbra J Acker, Amazon
7 September 2012
  • Summary: Installed in a snap and works great! Runs everything I have smoothly and at max settings. No driver issues like I had with my ATI card. One word of advice, however, if you buy this card from a place that offers extended warranties, don't do it.

Purchased in January 2012

  • Summary: Great card for the money. Just saw the video for Borderlands 2 and what a GTX card will look like compared to other cards. Looking forward to playing it on this card!
  • Pros: Plays everything I have thrown at it
  • Cons: Bought in January 2012 and the only drivers available for it were on the CD that came with it. Not only that, but the driver was not recognized as an official driver. A few months ago I downloaded a new driver for it which is obviously now recognized. I don't know if this is much of a "Con", as t...

Fantastic Card

Garrett G., Newegg
7 August 2012
  • Summary: I could not be more happy with the pair of cards I have! They blaze through anything I through at it!
  • Pros: -price/performance ratio! -good drivers -stable -contender with 570 and maybe a 580 -runs games like a hot knife through butter!
  • Cons: Can get a little warm, but if you have good air flow, this shouldn't be a problem. Other than that, no complaint!

  • Pros: Its an amazing card runs as fast as a Stock 580 and just as good as a OC 570 it runs everything i throw at it high to ultra i have it OC 900mhz clock and 2000mhz memory clock i recommend this to anyone even with the 600 series out this is a serious contender
  • Cons: Cant take an egg off or call this a Con but a while back i bought a ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/3GEN but it seems i shipped with a faulty second PCI-E so i looks like my second card im gonna have to hold off on SLI motherboard will come soon.

OC beast

Justin J., Newegg
21 June 2012
  • Summary: Was a bit hot with the stock cooler and heatsync. So I installed a ARCTIC COOLING Accelero XTREME Plus II to replace. Had to modify the card somewhat, but I got it to work. Great card for the price! Get it!!
  • Pros: This card overclocks like a beast. GPU clock running at 925mhz, Memory clock at 2100mhz!(voltage at maximum) I've been running at these speeds for months. It will play the most recent games on highest settings. BF3, Max Payne 3, SWTOR etc. It never misses a beat.
  • Cons: No cons!
