EVGA GeForce GTX Titan Review

2 May 2013
  • Excerpt: The Titan has existed for more than a year in the supercomputer world in the form of the Telsa K20X, which costs around $5,000. It's Nvidia's Big Kepler GPU, meaning it’s the most powerful implementation of the company’s current architecture, and for context it's almost double everything compared to a GTX 680 GPU.
  • Pros: Fastest single-GPU available; surprisingly quiet; superb software; smallish form-factor.
  • Cons: SLI/CrossFireX is still faster; not as fast as same-price GTX 690; super expensive.

  • Summary: At $1019.99 the EVGA GTX TITAN 6GB SuperClocked is an extremely expensive video card, but you can't deny the great performance that it offers. We understand that the dual GPU option isn't for everyone, and the upcoming HD 7990 from AMD is something that doesn't really interest everyone. So, the price could be justified.
