Summary: I bought a 270X video card for my new build, but in Win7 64-bit I got really bad color aberration with the AMD drivers. I could barely read lettering on the monitor. Installed this GTX 660 card and Nvidia drivers and the video is perfect with no video problem at all. I tried a different ATI/AMD video card when I couldn't get the video to work with the 270x card, but once the drivers were installed for that card, the video was all color smears as well.
Pros: Works well; WEI is 7.8 in Win7 64-bit Ultimate; 3GB ram
Disaster - Cost $320 to repair damage that ocurred right after this card was installed.

Summary: Note to begin: The Video Card purchased definitely was compatible with our system specifications but when installed, the computer would no longer boot up. When the new card was removed and the original video card was reinstalled, the sytem still would not boot up. We took the unit to a reputable local computer repair center (with the new video card) and they diagnosed a faulty video card and a fried motherboard. Their work order stated "GTX Video card is non functional.
Summary: I bought and installed this July 10, 2013 and it is still working great. Performs as advertised. I would highly recommend. An excellent card for the price. Performance vs cost makes this a good value.
Summary: Not enough juice for me. I actually bought an EVGA GTX 770 SC 4GB but this one was my first choice originally. It's a great card though. I have a 1440 monitor and I needed something beefier than this one.
