Summary: I got this to replace my 18 month old GTX 650. Why would I do that? Well I tried to upgrade to the GTX 960 which wouldn't allow me past the splash screen. After contacting EVGA they told me my Pegatron IPISB-CH2 motherboard would not support anything past a GTX 600 series or anything past the AMD HD 6000 series. There is no update for the MB bios as it is considered EOL.
Summary: A good performer for it's level of processing power. First one I ordered didn't get here and is not a con nor Amazon's fault, the USPS system here in Rural Alaska is a joke. Can stem from poor management of shipping by the various cities my items that I order go through, or can be grabbed by an employee of the 3 or so Airlines employees that the mail goes through since I'm basically off the grid and not being connected to the roads.
Summary: I can play crysis 3 with all graphics settings maxxed and still get a solid 20 fps (also running 8GB RAM and a 3.2Ghz i5)... This is a beast of a card with a great price that will chew up everything except the most extreme graphical requirements for games you throw at it. Even those high end games will run butter smooth... you may just have to settle for high settings instead of ultra settings. I expect to be using this baby for at least 3 years... probably more like 5.
Summary: I like the FPS this card give me on World of Warcraft, I think if the card is pushed too hard it will reset, as my system did once when I think I had the card CPU and memory overclocked too much
Summary: Everything was in order. the GTX 650 TI is a great graphics card and i, as a begginer to pc gaming/building would recomend this graphics card to anyone trying to build a nice budget gaming pc, this card went into my 600-700 dollar build and it works great.
Summary: I found that this item has great video and will send sound thru the HDMI, but after installing it, I have had problems with my "ON-BOARD" sound. I can NOT get the on-board sound to work. I even tried turning off the on-board sound, installing a separate sound card & run into the same problem... No sound from the card.
Summary: Still getting 60+ FPS on top graphix modes on all the games I play. World of Tanks, Mass Effect Trilogy, Left for Dead 2. Nothing even bothers this thing. Hot summer days the fan will run like a banshee, but never any problems.
Summary: Tested with one video game for 4 hours, it ran it easily, it showed it is actually quite capable and heavy processing levels. It was purchased for home theater pc however, so here are my feelings in that context: Pluses: * Literally only six inches long, will fit in small cases * Powerful rendering, does its job quite well without even breaking a sweat * Easy to install, built solid Minuses: * Using any software or utility, you cannot get fan speed below 35%, its set to...
