They are great cards, but run incredibly hot!

Summary: I really like EVGA and the recent decade they have stepped up their game big time! I still prefer MSI and ASUS but EVGA is almost there. They need to learn from MSI how to keep their cards running cool. EVGA cards run hot, hot, hot! I bought another one recently and had them SLI for because I wanted Metro Last Light at full blast! Running beautifully, but the cards run at 92°C and they are bulky with my sound card fitting only between them, Scary!
Summary: Product quality and without any problem installed and works ok, this a straight replace to my old nvidia gts 295 also from evga... the card become burned in a internal elements. a very strange error never happend a similar situation before with a nvidia card.... no bundles,no demos, no games... only a very basic animation demo a bit worthless... I'm outside USA.. and buy this in a international shipping method...very fast and without any problem..
Summary: This GTX 580 performs very well. It does get kind of hot so make sure you have good airflow or liquid cooling. Rips through everything, even games like Crysis 2 with the DX11 package and the texture package installed will all settings at max. I get my 3d glass's soon so lets see how it does with the 3d though!
Summary: There are plenty of review on the relative performance of this card compared to the other offerings. Beyond, those reviews, the card was easy to install, the driver setup was painless, though I had one minor issue. In a dual monitor configuration, one of the monitors would continually turn on then off. After some research, I found that this was an issue, albeit obscure. The best advice was to run one monitor at 59Hz and the second at 60Hz.
Summary: This is obviously the most powerful GPU I have owned and it is one beast, I am going to be water cooling it soon for even better performance in overclocking. This is hands down the best GPU I have owned and the only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the price. There is a minimal difference of performance in the 570 and the 580 yet the 580 is $150 more.
