Pros: The card itself is high end, and when it works, it can run any modern video game title I throw at it on full settings.
Cons: When it works. The video card crashes for me whenever I play a graphic intensive game. It gives me a driver error. I thought it was the cooling in my case, so I bought a top of the line case and re-did the internal wiring as to not restrict air flow. While heat may be the cause of this glitch, th...
Cons: Card blew out after ~10 months of light use - Playing Diablo 3, CS Source/GO, some BF3 a couple hours a week at most... I tried to file for an RMA but do not have my original invoice. They recently changed their warranty policy to 3 years w/o warranty but ONLY if it was manufactured after July 10...
Summary: I'm a gamer and my comps are built for that purpose, so I usually use top rated hardware when I can afford it. EVGA is probably the only brand of NVidia cards I buy from (had 3 cards from them before) and I will buy from them again.
Pros: I bought this card in August 2011 to replace my Radeon 4870 card. At first it was great, with fantastic graphics until a few months ago.
Cons: I recently started noticing the heat from the card. It was almost always hot, hot, and more hot when I used my desktop. And the card was always loud from the time I bought it. I thought it would've been the opposite. I have to RMA but I'm wondering will they send another DS card, which would make...
Pros: awesome card but very dissatisfied it died in like 5 days and i had to send it back and i sold my old card so now i have nothing to run my system on. geez. cant they test these or is that too much to ask?! someone else said theres died and the rma died. if that happens to me....two words. watch o...
Summary: I've had nothing but good experiences with newegg, but this last order i made through them has been a nightmare, never doing business with them again. Sorry if it sounds whiny, but i have very little tolerance for a company that advertises something like this then backs out on you.
Pros: It works.
Cons: The rebate they advertised for this is basically a scam. Even though the rebate was advertised when i bought it, i went through the process of documenting everything for it, and found out that technically the rebate didnt start until two days after i bought it, even though newegg definitely adver...
Summary: If you get one that installs flawlessly into Windows 7/64 consider yourself lucky and have-at-it! If you get the dreaded black screen at startup or the random driver crash and "successful" recovery warnings, RMA the card ASAP.
Pros: As others stated ... great when it works. If it works for you, it is 5 eggs, for me, it worked for a total of 90 minutes before I decided not worth my time to overcome the problems ... 2 eggs.
Cons: It either works right out of the box or RMA it, quick. Don't even bother wasting your time trying to fix it.
Summary: So that others can see my build and assess if they want to purchase this card: * ASRock Z68 Professional Gen3 * Intel i7-2600 3.4Ghz * Corsair Vengeance 16GB 240 pin 1600 RAM * Windows 7 64 bit * CORSAIR Professional Series HX750 (CMPSU-750HX) 750W PSU
Pros: * Able to max out settings on all games I own.
Cons: * Unfortunately unstable in some games. Constantly come up with windows 7 protection error stating that the drivers have stopped responding. If the game I'm playing is maximized I can force quit to recover the system. I have tried older drivers, the current drivers, and the most recent beta drive...
Pros: they make great hardware. And have some of the best graphics cards on the market .
Cons: Only way you will get it if you follow their stipulations to the T and dot the i's and be sure you have proper documentation. Because if you don't EVGA will void your warranty quicker than you could with a screwdriver. Instead of being a reasonable and working with customers who may have had a de...
Summary: I have been a strong supporter of EVGA and this is the first time I have been burned by a card of theirs.
Pros: The card will eat anything I throw at it! Super fast. I do like the light up EVGA logo on the side.
Cons: I purchased a card with a faulty fan. Card works fantastic. The faulty fan vibrates causing this internal buzzing sound when the fans go above 40% speed. I contacted EVGA and they were very happy to replace the entire card for me but, I have a card that works great! I just wish I was able to just...
