Smokin' FAST card!

zyklonterror, Amazon
28 July 2011
  • Summary: I bought six of these cards (3 for one system, 3 for another all SLI) and they are by far the best cards out there. All games maxed on a 46" monitor without any problems. Do make sure you have a stout PSU and a larger case.

Above Average

1215, Amazon
3 April 2011
  • Summary: A high end video card at a price point above $500 should have great performance and indeed the 580 does. No complaints except my came scratched - but seeing as it resides in a windowless case, I can live with it. The 580 runs every old and current game I tested (with all the eye candy on) at 30fps or more easily, often triple that.

Nvidia and EVGA did not mess around with this card.

Dude, Amazon
22 February 2011
  • Summary: This card when put together with my AMD Phenom x6 1090T has created a machine capable of taking everything that I can throw at it without breaking a sweat or even a hiccup. Running bioshock2, crysis, and cal of duty, all at max settings, all at the same time, it ran so smooth that I almost cried tears of joy. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 20!!! Well worth the cash you have to fork out for it!!!

Great card

Alvin Tann "as above so below", Amazon
26 January 2011
  • Summary: Overview I bought this card as a replacement for the 9800 GTX+. The card is simply amazing. The GTX 580 runs cooler and better then the older 9800 GTX by leaps and bounds. Keep in mind that this card needs lots of room.(9 inches or more is best). This card is power hungry. I would never run this card without at least a 600 to 700 watt power supply( depending on your set up).
