EVGA GeForce GT 640 is Fast For the Money

Summary: This card is pretty amazing for a measly $104. I needed to throw together another video editing / rendering machine to speed up my work flow and this coupled to my Dell R5400 server does the trick. I assume it would also work great for a lower end gaming card. The card scores a 7 on the Windows performance test so it's pretty snappy for the money.
Summary: This is clearly better than every one of those below. I don't know how it compares to the best. But seriously, for the money it does dual screens great, frame rates on the lame programs i run seem good. I did no benchmarking since I am not that guy. But my old video card died, was buried, and replaced by the former company twice and they all died, and this one does its work with no complaints.
Summary: This video card is a good upgrade to extend the useful life of an old MacPro a bit. I put mine in a MacPro 3,1 (early 2008, 8-core 2.8GHz) and the system worked perfectly with Mavericks (stock copy of the OS, no changes/mods applied to the OS). About the only thing I noticed is that I didn't see the gray apple logo during the booting process, but it presents no significant impact to the usability of this product.
Summary: This is a solid, economical video card. It won't be breaking any benchmarking records anytime soon, but for a mid-level graphics processing unit, it does a really nice job. I purchased this card for a customer's build, it stays cool and runs solidly. It runs Sims 3 with all of the expansions and updates for her with no issues on full settings, and I would feel comfortable even pushing it a bit further.
Summary: I was searching for a better video card for my gaming computer and this was recommended to me by tech support at Cypertron as the one that would best fit my current rig without upgrading the power supply. With a 500 watt power supply this card fit my current system. It was a quick and easy install and then when I went into my game wow what a difference in the video quality!
Summary: I have my 2 monitors hooked up and can run 2 programs at the same time on different screens! only issue I had was with the rebate company trying to rip me off, once they refused to give me the 15$ rebate I contacted EVGA and filed a complaint with them and the rebate company, EVGA quickly intervened , but the rebate company was dragging their feet and still did not process my claim so I contacted EVGA a second time by phone and email finally I did get the rebate
