Summary: My 2008 HP Pavilion had a failing video card. It would start up in Safe Mode. Researched how to replace video card (found some Utube videos). Next took my Video Card out. It did not have a six pin connector. It was an NVIDIA card. So looked for a replacement in Amazon and found this one.
Summary: I used this for a recent build for a customer. Everything was uneventful. The only gotcha is the "mini" HDMI. Remember, there are 3 different physical sizes now, Full size (type A), Mini (type C), and Micro (type D). The "extra" gotcha is very typical for everyone making these Mini jacks...
Summary: I play WoW, Diablo III, starcraft, and other games like these. my win 7 system with a 512 mb v ram was struggleing to keep frame rates up, even with details lowered. this the GT 630 Video rates are reasonable double digit and detail greatly improved.
Summary: This newer-generation card is slower than the GTX260/2 that it replaced, but for the price and getting DirectX11 tesselation features it is quite adequate - just don't expect to run software at max graphics settings and get a decent framerate.
Summary: I got this for an old Dell Optiplex 755 running Windows Vista on a 46-inch Samsung LCD HDTV as a monitor. I had an older 9500 GT Nvidia 1GB card, and my normal daily use pretty much drained it to its max.
Summary: I bought this to replace an x1950 pro card that i have had for 6 years, I was trying to play path of exile and bioshock infinite, both of which i could not on the old card. i can now play bioshock on med settings and path of exile on high settings with 30+ fps.
Summary: Not that it really makes a huge difference, but the memory on this card is DDR3 (per the box AND the manufacturer's website), NOT GDDR3. Does that make any difference? In a higher-end card, yeah. But in this? Not really, as far as I'm concerned.
Perfect Budget Video Card... that goes BEYOND budget functionality

Summary: I bought this graphics card for my first ever desktop build. I must say that I am extremely pleased with the results. First of all, installation couldn't have been simpler. The fan is not bulky and it fits into place easily as a graphics card should.
