Summary: i bought this item beacause at the point in time i was really in need of a graphic card for my desktop. i bidded on the item and won it so i decided to pay immediately. however, wat i dislike about the product is that its really irritates me because as soon as the computer is switch on the fun on the card is very noisey. i honestly believe that this item is faulty.
Looking for a graphics card for your old computer, look no further.

Summary: I was looking for a video card that can run upcoming video games, such as Starcraft 2. After searching through ebay's mass amounts of video cards, I came upon the GeForce 9400 GT. It is such a good buy for older computers which only have PCI slots. What I disliked about this card was the fact that it doesn't come with a driver for Windows 7, so I had to download the driver from microsoft's windows update & then I had to download the updated driver from the Nvidia...
Great solid performer. Really Pleased. Great Value.

Summary: I installed this EVGA 9400GT in a Dell Optiplex GX620 with a Pentium D 945 dual core; 3.4Mhz w/2.5G ram. Dual boot system Win XP-Sp3 and Windows7 Ultimate. It definitely improved the video performance of XP, however I don't know exactly how much. I have no program to tell me exactly before and after results. The only thing I have to go by is my own eyes. With win7 it's a different story.
Summary: This card was purchased to run two additional monitors on my main workstation. It works well except there is a noticeable and irritating delay when compared to my other graphics card. Due to available card slots this was the type of card we had to go with, I know there are better choices out there. It does what I want it to, but the slight delay is annoying.
Summary: I would recommend this card for any gamer who would like to get a nice fast frame rate while playing games. However, I would have preferred if the card had a direct connection HD15PIN monitor connector instead of having to use the provided adaptor. Although the box indicates that a minimum power supply of 300 Watts be used, to ensure that enough current reaches this board and its fan, I recommend that you ensure that you have a power supply with about 500 Watts.
