Summary: Ordered this to replace a flaky no-name brand 256M 6200. However, no matter what I tried (and I spent several evenings on this) I could not get this 512M EVGA card to work in an FIC P4-486PE Pro running XP - there were driver "resource conflicts" and the card was left stuck in VGA mode.
Works in older AGP 4x/8X ATX motherboards, except ONE ISSUE here

Summary: I got this Graphics card as a gift from my son who is an EE. Good choice of EVGA with Nvidia Gforce 6 chip for a 9 or 10 year old home user assembled PC. Using in an Aopen AK79G MAX motherboard system which happens to have Nvidia Chipset with built-in Graphix onboard.
Summary: I first installed this card using Windows 2000 Pro, and it worked very well. Then I did a new install of Windows 7, and now many programs including Combat Flifht Simulator will not run at all - even after getting the Win7 drivers from Nvidia.
Summary: OK maybe I was just unlucky, but let me explain the 2 stars... I ordered the card, arrived great, etc... I try installing the card (I disabled the onboard video controller) boot up, install driver, reboot then got a blue screen crash. BTW, I am no expert but I have installed several cards before.
Summary: I purchased this video card to replace the one that came installed in my Sony VAIO descktop computer. I had no problem installing the hardware, or the software, the video card is a good value. But the computer now locks up when awakening from Standby.
