Works, but ...

Richard N., Newegg
16 September 2009
  • Summary: Good price, if it does what it says it does.
  • Pros: Works out of the box. Is a small formfactor card.
  • Cons: I can't set the resolution to 2560x1600. Drivers seemed to install OK and even tried newest ATI drivers. I am limited to 1900X1200. It might be something I am doing wrong.

Not the brightest Crayon...

Austin G., Newegg
13 July 2009
  • Summary: Can't call this a con, but it doesn't support my 24" ASUS HD monitor. Not recommended for an upgrade at all.
  • Pros: It's PCI-E... and I didn't even know it when i bought my PC. Dell lies, hard.
  • Cons: Came with my rig, (Dell E521), after 2 years of ownership the card crashes my hard drive on a monthly basis.

Awful Card

John C., Newegg
22 March 2008
  • Summary: Go with the: SAPPHIRE 100207L Radeon HD 2600PRO 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card. It is cheaper and does a much better job. I have written a review of the SAPPHIRE 100207L card on Newegg.
  • Pros: Card looks good.
  • Cons: Took the Windows Vista Experience Index from a 3.0 to a 2.8. Shipped the card back for repairs. Received the card back and there was no indication that anything was done with the card. Installed the card and the Windows Vista Experience Index went down to a 2.5.

User Review

James C., Newegg
7 May 2007
  • Summary: don't buy this card
  • Pros: none
  • Cons: It worked for almost 3 months and then started having different colored pixels in pictures in screens. It wasn't my monitor because I tried it on the same screens through a different card and it worked fine

User Review

Gregory K., Newegg
18 April 2007
  • Pros: Wasn't DOA, I guess
  • Cons: After a couple of months my PC started crashing on a daily basis. Removing the card solved the problem. Identical replacement card had only one of the two DVI working. There are more reliable cards out there.

Low End card Overpriced!

Jose L., Newegg
19 January 2007
  • Summary: Get a 6600gt or a X800 for this price and get decent game performance.
  • Pros: This is a $xx low performance card for a non-gamer that is priced at $xxx. No pros!
  • Cons: The price and performance are poor. Why only 4 pixel pipes? Why a 128 bit memory bandwidth instead of 256?

The Only Choice for Niche Market

Jinsoo An, Amazon
17 August 2006
  • Summary: I wish I had more choices of video cards for my Dell 745 (Small Form Factor). Due to my dual LCD (DVI) setup, low-profile requirement, and Vista Aero compatibility, I have limited my choices to only one - Diamond BizView BV300. Initially, I thought about getting BV200 from eBay due to cheaper price.
