Summary: This has boosted my computer's abilities, and has made my life easier (no longer dealing with faulty cards that made me BSOD every 5 min.), and now running as smooth as the day I built my machine.
Summary: I bought this card "used" from a seller here on Amazon. It was less than a hundred bucks. It's a great card, and just a couple years ago, it was a fantastic card. Rather than buy a mediocre card for around a hundred bucks to throw into my desktop rig, I bought this one immediately when I saw the price. I don't game much... mainly Skyrim and that's about it.
Summary: Easy to install, great graphics, but needs plenty of airflow in the case to stay cool. The free software included in the package can mot be downloaded as the promotion ended a year ago. Disappointing.
Summary: Bought two of these in January 2012, and installed them in a SLI configuration. Just recently (March 2013) upgraded so its worth going back and relaying my experience with these: I did some gaming (Planetside 2, World of Tanks) which the cards did great at, but they spent most of each day running BOINC projects. So, the cards were loaded at almost 100% for a good portion of every day.
Made great addition to my sons gaming computer build!
