ATI Rage Fury Review

4 October 2011
  • Excerpt: Introduction This is probably the hardest part to write of my review. Being a first time hardware reviewer, I really don't know where to begin. I could begin with the usual malarkey of how the Rage Fury is ATI's latest generation board based on ATI's Rage 128 chipset. I could begin with how I chose the Fury as my current graphics board, and what research I did. I could drone on about anything, really, but I won't.

  • Excerpt: Excellent price / performance. Direct competition with the Voodoo3 and Riva TNT chipsets. With a large number of OEM on board installs this card will see a lot of use.

ATI Rage Fury Review

  • Conclusion: The ATI Rage Fury isn't a dramatic improvement over what we have on the market today. But does show the world that ATI isn't just aiming to please OEMs anymore. 32MB local memory support, no-nonsense truecolor rendering speed at high resolutions, and a variety of additional features should make the Rage128 a frontrunner for those seeking to upgrade to a "real" 3D card. In closing, the Rage appears to be a product with much promise.

ATI Rage Fury

  • Summary: Die Leistung der ATI Rage Fury überzeugt.
