  • Summary: So, there we have it, the new X800XT AIW brings the All In Wonder series up to speed with the ATI desktop/Gaming cards in one fell swoop. With the addition of FM radio and Dual monitor support there is a compelling reason for owners of older AIW cards to upgrade.
  • Pros: Stunning looking board, Dual monitor support at last on the high end AIW, Gaming performance is the best in its class, Nice software bundle for video editors, Remote Wonder 2 included in the box, True single slot solution for everything video on your PC, Quiet cooling system, Overclockable
  • Cons: Gemstar Guide + needs ditching, No MCE2005 support, No Games in the software bundle, No dual DVI support

  • Conclusion: This is the reference from which other X800 XT based video cards spring, and while the performance is great, other manufacturers are doing more to add value.
  • Pros: Great performance. Relatively low power needs. Robust and stable drivers. Only requires a single slot.
  • Cons: Disappointing software bundle.

  • Conclusion: Although it lacks Shader Model 3.0 support, the Radeon X800 XT offers great performance, leading nVidia by a nose. Its lower power draw also means that it should run with your existing power supply.
  • Pros: Very fast
  • Cons: Doesn't support Shader Model 3.0
