Summary: Best GPU upgrade available for my generation of Mac Pro, 1,1 I believe is the official model. Gets me another couple of years of great usability before I might replace the tower as a whole. Put a new SSD and more RAM in as well.

Summary: An amazing improvement - running an early 2009 Mac Pro, photo editing software loads significantly faster than with the original card. Easy to instal The only suggestion I have is that the instructions don't tell you to move back the card protector on left hand side of the slots, near the front fan.
Not OEM, Re-flashed but worked perfectly! Just need Active Display Port adapter instead of mini display port adapters!

Summary: Excellent video card. Didn't realize just how loud our Mac Pro had gotten with the fan running all the time to keep our older video card cool while it was slowly failing. This card runs very hard.
Summary: Put this in my 2008 Mac Pro. Works great with Mavericks. Makes gaming fly and large Photoshop files scroll and refresh instantly. While this is a double wide PCIe card, it "happens" that Apple made the first (video) 16x slot a double wide as well so the card does not cover the second 16x slot where...
Summary: I was considering upgrading my Mac to one of the new systems (the one that looks like a black tube). As a video producer, I needed more power. However, Apple kept delaying the release of the machine, and so I would get this device to take care of business until they finally get here.
